t is always a tough choice when it comes to picking between sarees and traditional suits; but looks like Sonam Kapoor just gave us an indelible solution to the problem. The bundle of creativity and talent that Sonam is, with her stellar choice of outfits, she has proven time and again how she is the unchallenged fashionista of Bollywood, and isn’t willing to abdicate the throne.
Making us fall for her fashion sensibilities all over again, the actress shone bright in a gold-silver, semi-traditional attire, which she wore on the sets of a television reality show. Accompanied by her co-star in the film Padman, Sonam manifested grace in the fusion attire by Hemang Agrawal, while also looking every bit quirky.
We were bedazzled by the finesse with which Sonam pulled off the bright, metallic colours without going even slightly over-the-top–not everyone knows how to wear gold and silver together, especially with such ease.
The pleated skirt, which looked more like the lower-half of a styled saree, teamed with the front-buttoned blouse made for a quintessential, traditional, fusion attire.
While the top and skirt combination echoed more with the saree, the dupatta she had draped gave it a suit-like appearance. Even the creased texture of the outfit worked in its favour and added a much-needed casual vibe to the look.
Just as she slays almost everything, Sonam aced this look and opted for intrinsic and heavy, silver-gold jewellery, which to our surprise, also didn’t look gaudy. Even though the jewellery was lovely, we do feel that she could’ve done without the broad, gold bangles, since her earrings and neckpiece were already heavy-looking.
With a smokey-touch on her eyes, and pink lips, she finished the look with a braided bun, and looked absolutely heartwarming.
